The Mach 7X might be new to the Morey line of boards again but it’s one of the most iconic and recognizable boards in the world. With an updated shape and up-to-date materials, the Mach 7X should be a bodyboard in everyone’s quiver. The X-Flex core delivers strength from nose to tail with just the right amount of flex.
TC8 DECK -> A specified polyethylene deck skin that can hold strong surf and offers some serious durability. Because of this deck, you can surf the big and powerful waves without any worry.
X-FLEX MESH -> Essentially plastic chicken wire that is lain across the core on the deck and then the skins are laminated to the core, sandwiching the mesh between the two. The effect being that more “”spring”” is added to the board with the prevention of over-flexing.
CORE -> Inside the board sits a premium super lightweight ultra-strong polypropylene core. Morey’s X-Flex Polypro is it’s used by every professional bodyboarder. It is also 100% hydrophobic meaning your board is less likely to absorb water once damaged and it’s stiffer than NRG+ and best suited for temperate to warm waters. Faster and stiffer, it can be hard to control for beginners.
HDPE -> Rubber-like combination of ethylene resins and other copolymers. Unlike rigid plastics, Surlyn has amazing flexural stiffness that allows a board to conform and c
CRESCENT TAIL -> A tail type that was designed for all wave conditions. The crescent tail has less contact with the face of the wave and increases the bodyboard’s fluidity, especially in barreling, close-out, or shore break conditions
